96% of IT executives predict that a "significant" or "moderate" positive bottom-line impact could be achieved by their enterprise if an IT strategy were specifically developed to serve the corporate strategy;
90% predict that a "significant" or "moderate" positive bottom-line impact could be achieved by their enterprise if IT operational goals matched corporate business goals;
89% predict that a "significant" or "moderate" positive impact could be achieved by their enterprise if IT operations and organization were aligned to a stated corporate strategy.
Almost half of the surveyed leaders of large companies feel that they have not yet been very successful in aligning IT operations and the organization to a stated IT strategy (44%); or aligning IT strategy with corporate strategy (45%); or aligning IT spending with corporate spending priorities (48%); or aligning IT operational goals with corporate business goals (49%).
